My daughter lost her good friend to suicide. He was so young only 13 years old. If anyone would like to donate to his family please do so here. Fly high Brayden! https://gofund.me/39312321

Progress Report. 18 miles into the 62 miles for Campaign Against Living Miserably March Fundraiser Completed 4 miles tonight. To put that into perspective, it takes me roughly 40 minutes to run that. (I’m not a runner.) 🏃🏼♂️🥵In that 40 minutes, CALM would have answered 4 phone calls to people struggling. But only if fundraisers contribute £8 per call. Don’t view it as sponsoring me, view it as helping someone save another by picking up that phone. Link below if you want to help me get to my target of contributing to 25 phone calls. In case you’re thinking this isn’t for LinkedIn. I’ve spent my years building a professional network of (charitable) great people instead of a personal one. So for me, it does. #campaignagainstlivingmiserably #CALM #itsoknottobeok #mentalhealthawareness #suicideprevention

Contribution and Giving Back:1) Volunteer for a cause you are passionate about.2) Engage in acts of kindness and generosity.3) Contribute to your community or a charitable organization.4) Think of yourself less is to think of yourself less often.5) Look for one opportunity a day to help someone, and do not look for credit from your peers, keep your act to yourself.

Yes, each of us has our own burdens. But that doesn’t mean we can’t do anything to ease each other’s loads. Even very simple gestures of kindness can make a lot of difference. A simple smile or words of encouragement can make someone’s day. Those food items, old clothes, or books you’ve donated can change a life. And a simple care package can help a homeless person get through the day. That’s the beauty of giving back and helping. You don’t need to be a multi-millionaire to make a difference. All you need is a true desire to make life better for others and the will to follow it through https://lnkd.in/dUkV52BX#GodisGood #Kindhearts#VeteransForChildRescue #ChildRecovery #humantrafficking #endtrafficking #missingchildren #fightinghunger #fightingcancer #fightforjustice #nonprofit #succesfulrecoveries #leadershipdevelopment #standunited #childprotection #childresafety #makeadifference #bepartofthesolution #changemakers #supportthecause #personalmission #fearlessfighter #HeartofGod

Hala Taha Here are a few more suggestions to add to your list:0️⃣ Practice random acts of kindness, such as paying for someone's coffee or groceries anonymously.1️⃣ Offer to help someone with their chores or tasks without expecting anything in return.2️⃣ Send handwritten letters or cards to friends or family members to let them know you're thinking of them.3️⃣ Plant trees or flowers in your community to beautify the environment and provide habitats for wildlife.4️⃣ Mentor someone who could benefit from your knowledge and experience, whether it's in academics, career development, or personal growth.5️⃣ Organize or participate in neighborhood clean-up events to keep your community clean and welcoming.6️⃣ Practice empathy and try to understand others' perspectives, especially in difficult situations.7️⃣ Support local businesses by shopping at independently owned stores and restaurants.8️⃣ Practice forgiveness and let go of grudges or resentments, fostering healing and understanding in relationships.

You walk down the street and lock eyes with a homeless person. Only two outcomes: 1. You donate. 2. You don’t donate. ⬇️Sign #1 - $26 in 9 hours. Sign #2 - $41 in under 2 hours. Why? 1. It shines the light on the “giver” (prospect) not the “taker” (seller) 2. It deals with the biggest objections up-front:❌I can’t give to everyone? ❌ how do I know the need is legit? The Takeaway. 1. Prospect center-stage. 2. Blow up objections first. 3. Give the Freedom to choose.#unselling

Winter is coming! And its New England so "Winter" could literally mean anything. If you are facing financial insecurity, or without a house/home, this season is particularly harrowing.During this season I will be working to connect our Generators to opportunities with Somerville Homeless Coalition to donate their time to some community service, and later this month, to donate warm winter clothing and high-need items. Being a good neighbor is checking to make sure their plates are full, and offering a warm coat before they need to ask. We're here to do both!Generate: Time - to acts of serviceGenerate: Service - towards our neighbors and communitiesGenerate: Warmth - to keep our community safe from the turbulent winter season.#generatetime #generateservice #generatewarmth #communityoutreach
