Like all perennial flowers, pink perennials return year after year. That means you can enjoy their soft, delicate hues every spring and summer for years to come.
The main reason why I grow pink perennials in my garden is how well they complement the other colors — like purples, whites and blues. If you don’t want to mix colors, go for an all pink monochromatic color scheme. Or break it up with pops of white perennials.
Vibrant pink flowers are also great at attracting pollinators such as bees and butterflies. There are a million reasons why pink perennials should be on your to-grow list this spring, but you didn’t come to this page to hear me wax poetic. You came to see the flowers.

12. Hydrangea (Hydrangea spp.)
One of my favorite perennial plants with large, round clusters of flowers in shades of pink, blue, purple, and white. They’re known for lush foliage and are often used in shrub borders.
To have pink hydrangeas, aim for a pH level of 5.5 or higher. This can be achieved by improving the soil with sulfur or by using an acidifying fertilizer. Keep in mind that the pH level of the soil can change over time, so regularly check it and adjust it as needed to maintain the desired pH level.

This perennial is also known as spike speedwell because of its spikes of small pink, blue or purple flowers that bloom in the spring and summer. 'First Love' is known for early blooming, and it’s a popular choice for garden borders, rock gardens and cut flowers.
