How do you get invited to perfect game showcases? ›

Be proactive: Reach out to Perfect Game staff or scouts directly through email or social media platforms to express your interest in attending a Perfect Game event. Share your player profile, highlight videos, and other relevant information to showcase your skills and dedication to the game.

The WWBA World Championship, which is held annually in Jupiter, FL in late October is a strict invite-only event. It is our oldest and most prestigious event we run. It is limited to 85 teams, with well over 200 wanting in. There are 7 spots for Qualifier winners.

What is Perfect Game? We are the largest and most complete amateur baseball scouting service in the world, hosting more than 1,000 showcases and tournaments each year. We host showcases all over the United States that feature many of the best young players in the country.

Subscriptions are affordable and incredibly valuable. DiamondKast is the official scoring app of Perfect Game and used for all PGBA Red and White events. Subscribers can follow every game of the tournament with live pitch-by-pitch updates, statistics, and box scores.

The decision to attend a Perfect Game Showcase depends on your goals and expectations. However, considering the limitations and potential costs, it is often unlikely to be a worthwhile investment for most individuals doing it to advance their baseball careers.

Players born on/after May 1, 2010 are eligible. ONLY TWO school grade exemptions per team will be allowed for players who are in the 6th grade who turn 13 years old before May 1st, 2023. However, those players must be born on/after January 1, 2010 to be eligible. Players born on/after May 1, 2011 are eligible.

Faut is the only professional baseball player, male or female, to have pitched two perfect games.

Perfect Game was started in the mid-1990s by Jerry Ford to provide Iowa high school kids with more exposure to college coaches who rarely visited the state. In 2018, Thurman and Rob Ponger invested in the company and worked behind the scenes to expand PG into new areas.

Perfect Game uses an amateur grading system from 1-10. The MLB uses a grading system of 2-8 or 20-80.

8.13 Bunting shall not be allowed. 8.14 The batter shall receive a maximum of six (6) pitches or three (3) swinging strikes. 8.15 A player may only be Intentionally Walked once per game by announcement from the defensive team. 8.16 Runners shall not lead-off or steal bases.

DOWNERS GROVE, ILLINOIS (April 11, 2024) – Perfect Game, one of the largest amateur baseball organizations in the country, announced as of April 8, 2024 it was suspending use of Easton Hype Fire bats that are a drop-5 (-5).

No-hitters occur at a rate of about three per season over the course of Major League Baseball history. The most no-hitters in a single season under the original definition of the feat was 1884, in which 12 were thrown, followed by 1990 with 9 and 1991 with 8.

Register for Perfect Game by creating a free profile on perfectgame.org. Once your profile is created, you can create a team and pay the yearly team creation fee of $60.

It was nearly a quarter of a century before a third one occurred, even though there were two or even three leagues for part of that time. In Major League Baseball history twenty-four pitchers have thrown perfect games, including one in the World Series.

Getting to see a player in both a full workout and games at a showcase is the best way for us to properly rank a player. A huge percentage (well over 90 percent) of the top players in the country attend multiple Perfect Game events each year.

Make sure you showcase your best skills.

If you have great speed, be aggressive on the bases and show it off. Showing coaches your best skill may catch coaches' interest and improve your chances of getting seen again or winding up on the “follow” list.

All users start with one showcase by default, and earn a showcase every 10 levels starting at level 20, with a maximum of 13 showcases at one time. You may purchase and level up showcases in the Steam Point Shop. Purchasing will allow you to put an extra showcase of that type, to a max of 2.
