• Measure the opposite walls by repeating the process and then find the distance between the wall to determine the length and breadth of the room.

The formula to measure a room is :

Length Breadth/Width = Square Footage

So to understand how many square feet are in a 12x16 room let's assume:

16 ft is the length of the room and the breath of the room is 12 ft.

So the length and breadth of the room are 16 by 12 feet.

To know the square feet we need to calculate both the numbers (LxW)
