How long does it take to walk around the Birmingham Botanical Gardens? ›

- Birmingham Botanical Gardens and Glasshouses. This depends on how fast you walk, do you want to see it all quickly or take a lovely leisurely stroll. I would estimate you could do it in a hour and a half, but if you really want to experience the magic of the place then allow yourself 3 to 4 hours.

The Gardens are free and open to the public every day of the year. Seasonal hours correspond with daylight savings time.
