Fun with Fungi is triggered when you speak to the blue mushrooms outside the White Witch's cabin. They refuse to tell you about the witch and her cabin until you answer three riddles. In order, the answers are an ear of corn, a stone, and a butterfly.
After finishing your conversation, teleport to the Homestead, then talk to Zixzax. He'll tell you that you can just kill the mushrooms to lower the barrier. Return to the cabin, then speak to the mushrooms. They'll beg for life, and tell you that there is a spell somewhere in the forest that will lower the barrier. If you want to speed things along, you can murder the mushrooms by holding CTRL and clicking on them. If do that, you'll resolve the quest.

Head inside the castle prison. After reaching the end, you'll find the White Witch trapped in ice. Stand near her and activate the rune in your inventory. Once she's freed, you'll resolve the quest.
Raining Blood + Bless (in that order) will put out the flames on the Historian in the middle. Cast Raining Blood first to put out the Hellfire condition, then immediately cast Bless to remove the Cursed condition. (If you don't have the Blood Rain skill, attack your own character to create some blood.
The child is locked in one of the three basem*nts on the Bloodmoon island. To unlock them you will need someone with the Scholar tag and to read a book called something-Hymn, that can be found in the Ryker's basem*nt and in the Bloodmoon island vault. Only Scholars will be able to read it.
You have to free the 3 Elemental Kings who have been sealed away by Boreas, in order to obtain the Fire Rune from King Sua. The rune is used to summon Sua, who melts Icara's icy prison. After you free her, she accompanies you to your Homestead and assists you in finding Zandalor and stopping Leandra.
Winning this battle becomes easier when you know that the offensive/defensive stance carries over in this battle, so play offensively when her stripes are blue, and defensively when her stripes are red. You'll also want watch out for Annihilation.
To deactivate the barrier around the cabin, speak to the talking mushroom Icari next to the cabin to get the quest Fun With Fungi. Finish this quest and remove the barrier using whichever method you chose. Go inside and use the mirror to teleport to a cave. Proceed until you meet Vaelanna.
