The Accuplacer ESL is available for students who must have placement on file or are retaking to improve scores, provided college coursework in Reading, Writing, Speech and Listening or Grammar has not already been started. These students who have not received 8 or more years of English language instruction in history, science, literature, and math in one of the following countries: United States, Antigua & Barbuda, Australia, Bahamas, Barbados, Canada, Dominica, England, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, New Zealand, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Scotland, St Kitts & Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent & the Grenadines, South Africa, Trinidad & Tobago, Virgin Islands (US & British), or Wales will take the Accuplacer ESL for their placement requirement.
