Our friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable staff will be happy to assist you in any way they can and answer all your questions about our pastries and processes. Explore our extensive variety of scratch made bakery and be sure to grab a few different items as it can be challenging to choose just one or two things when everything looks and smells so good! We aren’t in any hurry; it takes time to bake Kringle the right way, and we want to make sure that you end up with the perfect pastry to savor any day of the week. We’re also happy to make recommendations based on your preferences and show you our delicious seasonal items as well.

Our Douglas Avenue store is conveniently located on the north side of Racine. Stop by for fresh baked goods, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, fair trade coffee, and good people Monday through Friday 6:00 am - 6:00 pm, Saturday 6:00 am - 5:00 pm and Sunday from 7:00 am - 2:00 pm.

How to Find Our Store on Douglas Avenue

If you’ve been searching for a “Kringle bakery near me”, there’s good news. It’s super easy to find our north Racine store thanks to its convenient location right at Douglas Avenue and Four Mile Road. We are located at 4917 Douglas Avenue, which is right across from Milaeger’s Garden Center. You might enjoy stopping at Rooster’s Restaurant for a bite before heading to O&H for dessert. Or, head a few miles into Racine’s historic downtown and try the local favorite, Kewpee Sandwich Shop. O&H will also make a great stop to add to your day if you’re spending some time at Lake View Park or the Racine Zoo, both just a few minutes away.

If you like the sand and sun (and who doesn’t?), we’re just down the street from Racine North Beach. Here, you’ll find 50 acres of soft sand situated along 2,500 feet of shoreline, all located just north of downtown Racine. There are also volleyball courts, a Kids Cove playground, and a snack bar. From mid-June through Labor Day, there are lifeguards on duty as well. Free parking and seasonal live music round out the beach experience. Be sure to stop by O&H before or after your trip to the beach for a delicious homemade Danish pastry.

We are also a mere five minutes away from Wind Point. Wind Point is the home of several local attractions including Frank Lloyd Wright’s Wingspread Campus, The Prairie School, and the Wind Point Lighthouse (one of Lake Michigan’s tallest and oldest operating lighthouses). Wind Point is bordered by Highway G, Four Mile Road, and Three Mile Road, as well as Lake Michigan. To get to O&H Danish Bakery from Wind Point, you can take Four Mile Road west for a few miles and take a left at Douglas Avenue and you’ll find O&H just on the left.
